Automotive 4.0 : timing belts measurement machine.
For an enterprise in the rubber segment, note we have designed and made a timing belts measurement machine. The machine, which consists of 2 axes, simulates the engine's performance, while laser sensors measure all the product characteristics, both dimensional (thickness, height and width of the toe and tooth height), as well as dynamics (derives from the belts on the pulleys and belt slackening). The added value of this system is its software, capable of assessing the angles of the rubber that normally points to signal acquisition problems due to the intrinsic characteristics of the rubber itself, as deformation and reflection.
Automotive belt laser measurement bench with measurement management software
In various plants of a leading multinational automotive component producer, Taiprora produced laser belt measurement benches and at the same time created software to manage the laser measurements integrated with the production management system.
Special oil automatic metering system
For a multinational rubber component producer, Taiprora has created a turnkey automatic metering system for special oils (mechanical, electrical, software design).
Rubber vulcanisation stage control and monitoring software
The software intervenes, within the production process, immediately after the packing of the sleeves, assisting the operator in the procedure for assigning the sleeve in the container, and displaying the data expressed in graphs of temperatures and values inside the same containers during the vulcanisation process.
Software for monitoring the progress of production with control of the rubber sleeve packing machines

All activities will be monitored through a control network that puts the Operator’s work computer in communication both with the PLC of the packing machine and with the Company IT System, permitting constant availability of the detailed information not only of the belts and settings of the recipes to put into production, but also of the batches used, permitting complete traceability of all activities and all materials.

Taiprora has created a production line control system for a multinational in the automotive/rubber sector. The main functions of the system are: - monitoring of the progress of production - data acquisition for quality control - management of traceability for finished products - anti-error management
Large-diameter pipe production plant: creation of water testing inspection system
The system concerned was created by Taiprora for a multinational in the sector for carrying out water tests on pipes with large diameters and flanges at the ends. It dealt with designing and producing the entire system including the mechanical, electronic, sensor and software components.
Artificial three-dimensional vision and measurement of the characteristics of the rubberised fabric in tyre production
The Client needed to be able to detect the dimensional characteristics of the fabric on the line and of the components applied to it, with the aim of: increasing the precision with which the finished product is made; reducing errors in position/width of the materials applied to the fabric; having a quality control tool that allows the production process to be guaranteed. 3D vision systems are understood as all tools capable of acquiring the spatial coordinates of a given region or of the surface of an object, automatically, systematically and at high speed. The basic principle on which the different types of laser are based is called “laser triangulation”.
Overall plant supervisor
The Central Unit manages the three kilns (drying kiln, expansion kiln, cooling kiln) of line 2 and controls all the users that operate the line of kiln 2 such as: the end exhauster, the lubricators, the fans, the valves and the excess product recovery system. Moreover, through two modules with sixteen analogue inputs, it detects all the kiln area pressure and temperature measurements and, via a module with eight analogue outputs, regulates the speed of the motors featuring inverters (cooling kiln, expansion kiln, drying kiln, end exhauster, kiln feeding belt 1, kiln feeding belt 2 and excess product cooling pump).
Revamping the control system for a tyre packing system
The control system for the machine based on Siemens S7-300 PLC was designed and produced to make managing the machine’s operating cycles extremely dynamic and versatile through the creation of a system of parameter-based phases that, appropriately configured, allow the machine operating cycle to be modelled dynamically...
