Programma Operativo Nazionale (PON) Ricerca e Innovazione 2014-2020 is the Italian programme developed in order to contribute to the enhancement of research, technological development and innovation, achieving the objectives of EU cohesion policy for disadvantaged areas in the country.
The programme, managed by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), formerly Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), covers the transition regions (Abruzzo, Molise and Sardinia) and the less developed regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily).
Having an operational site in San Giovanni Teatino (Chieti, Abruzzo) allows Taiprora to participate in various research projects within this programme, driving improvements in terms of innovative know-how on state-of-the-art technologies, product quality, working environment and safety.
This research and development project is called CHRA 4.0 and involves the study, design, development and implementation of a prototype machine for the assembly and disassembly CHRA (Center HousingRotatingAssy), using an innovative technology related to industry 4.0.
The project involves - among other things - the implementation of a series of machine-learning / artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, focusing to the analysis of data coming from sensors installed on the machine, with the aim of predictive maintenance.
The research and development project is called COTM 4.0 - Collaborative Testing Machine For Smart Factory: Study, design, development and implementation of an innovative prototype machine for the cooperative quality control of automotive sleeves that uses the innovative technology related to industry 4.0.
The application sector is that of the Intelligent Factory. The main reference sub-theme is Intelligent Machines.
ICOSAF aims at technologies and systems for a collaborative factory with a growing integration of the operator in line with the principles of Industry 4.0 (interconnected automation) and Industry 5.0 (humanization and re-use of resources).
