Programma Operativo Nazionale (PON) Ricerca e Innovazione 2014-2020 is the Italian programme developed in order to contribute to the enhancement of research, technological development and innovation, achieving the objectives of EU cohesion policy for disadvantaged areas in the country.
The programme, managed by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), formerly Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), covers the transition regions (Abruzzo, Molise and Sardinia) and the less developed regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily).
Having an operational site in San Giovanni Teatino (Chieti, Abruzzo) allows Taiprora to participate in various research projects within this programme, driving improvements in terms of innovative know-how on state-of-the-art technologies, product quality, working environment and safety.
