IT and mechatronics form the double helix of our company's DNA. Over the years, these have allowed us to develop highly innovative designs. Our historic and contemporary strength is the capacity to bring differing engineering approaches into dialogue, blending them into a multidisciplinary paradigm that underpins Digital Factory today.
We have always believed that the diverse approaches of various disciplines would propel us into the future, so we pursued this with determination from the start and are now a leader in conceiving and carrying out 4.0 projects.
Some of our Design 4.0 success stories:
Smartplant: Automotive IP Assembly Line + EOL
Taiprora designed and delivered a semi-automatic assembly line + full-automatic EOL check and traceability system to assemble cockpits in a third-party automotive corporate.

Scada and MES Sytem Taiprora - Web platform
Web platform for real-time Data Management and Traceability, designed and developed by Taiprora for an Automotive corporate. Developed with Wonderware System Platform.

Prod and Pack Planner Taiprora - Web platform
Web platform for the digitalization of planning processes, created by Taiprora for a customer operating in the Food & Beverage sector.

Palletizing and Pallet Handling System in the packaging department
For a multinational pharmaceutical company, we have created a palletizing system, physically connected to both the production and the warehouse, through a system of about 40 meters of roller conveyors.

4.0 machine to assemble/disassemble turbocompressors for petrol, diesel and electric engines.
R&D project for Industry 4.0 that integrates the connection between physical and digital systems with a complex Big Data analysis using the most advanced technologies: Web Supervisor and SmartGlass, MachineLearning and Conditional Monitoring applied to predictive maintenance, SensorWear and BigData for dyadic man - cobot).

Industrial augmented reality system through Smartglass
We have developed this Android AR application for the Dubai plant (EAU) of a well-known multinational company operating in different sectors of chemistry, personal care and food and beverage.

Traceability System
For a well-known multinational automotive company we have created a Traceability System for one production line that includes 9 processing stations (welding, tightness control, screwing, vision and pick to light).

Collaborative Smartbench: Automotive Assembly Workstation
For an enterprise in Automotive area, we have designed and built an Industry 4.0 project, named “Collaborative Smartbench”: a series of assembling benches for the Porsche Cayenne interior panels. A step towards innovation is the use of a Universal Robots’ collaborative robot: thanks to its compactness and axle handling at almost 360° it is ideal for this application. This choice has allowed us to offer our customer higher quality and an effective reduction in security costs.

MES Productivity: production planning and control
The customer's requirement was to create a system for using data from the shop floor, to observe, receive and send information on the status of orders being processed (production orders) and on the machines that process orders ...

MES Connectivity Module: Big Data applied to Industry 4.0
Through the Connectivity module, as main functionality, it has been possible to implement a System capable of receiving a large amount of information regarding the following data groupings within the single MES system of the Customer: production, climatic data, energy consumption.

Smart Profit and Loss: Integrated Corporate system for Big Data
Smart Profit And Loss is an integrated system that allows the user to collect all the data of the economic movements present in the various company databases, to process them with customizable cost / revenue allocation rules and place them in one or more unified accounts plans. The results obtained are available for classic reporting tools (SAP Business Object, MS Reporting Service, ...)

Designing and developing a WincCC software
For a well-known pharmaceutical corporate we have developed a software to interface a PC client with a WinCC supervisor and a MES System for the management and execution of ODL (work orders) defined on an ERP (SAP).
The development of the System has been integrated over the years, extending it so as to allow the Customer to supervise various areas of its production plant.

Big Data and IoT: SAT4.0, an innovative solution that looks to the future
SAT4.0 best expresses our synergistic experience between hardware and software, a solution that allows our customers who need to connect its own satellites with the central structure, to face the Industry 4.0 era.

Smartbench: Automotive Assembly Workstation
The project, called Smartbench, was carried out for a multinational leader in the automotive component sector. It consisted in the complete creation, for various European plants of the group, of semi-automatic door panel assembly benches, featuring assembly control and objectivation systems and supervision software on operator panel.

Revamping AGV shuttles and creating navigation system
The purpose of the activity was to revamp 2 × AGVs in the solids department of a well-known pharmaceutical multinational, making the following changes: - Replacement of the control electronics with standard NDC8 products from Kollmorgen; - Replacement of the navigation system with standard NDC8 products from Kollmorgen; - Modified fork c/c distance mechanics in order to be able to move the following Loading Units (LUs); - AGV software development and relative NDC navigation system.

Taiprora LGV (laser guided vehicle): turnkey automated vehicle
AGVs are material transport vehicles capable of moving autonomously. The operations that can be carried out by an AGV are the same as those assigned to a forklift with an operator on board. In particular, laser-guided AGVs (LGVs - Laser Guided Vehicles) are free to move at high speeds because they are not obliged to follow structures fixed to the floor and every route variation can be made simply through software via Wi-Fi communication. Taiprora produces LGVs, for transporting raw materials, finished products and consumables to and from production lines, palletising stations, winding systems, loading and/or unloading bays, automated and manual warehouses, etc.

Revamping automotive door panel welding line
The project, carried out for a multinational leader in the automotive component sector, consisted of adapting the line for updated door panel model requirements, mainly by remaking the automation and control system and creating a new panel pallet locking system.

Revamping the control system for a tyre packing system
The control system for the machine based on Siemens S7-300 PLC was designed and produced to make managing the machine’s operating cycles extremely dynamic and versatile through the creation of a system of parameter-based phases that, appropriately configured, allow the machine operating cycle to be modelled dynamically...
